One of the first pc games I got from a Goodwill store that I loved playing as kid but have long since misplaced the disk for. For a quick overview this game was more or less the prototype for Fallout Tactics given they share the same dev team but with more an Aliens feel to it. You control a squad of people on every stage on a space station that has been infested with alien life forms akin to Xenomorphs in a way. Granted they also have some random weaknesses or strengths against typical objects on a lvl so one lvl a fire extinguisher may deal a lethal effect while on another it might very well cause an enemy hit with it to multiply. I do remember hitting a way as a kid, and getting stuck but for what it's worth I was a young teen when I got my hands on this but I'm sure it did have some challenging stages if only due to limited healing or the weapon rng working against you.

Got this game in an old "Todo a 150 pesetas" store, back when I was young. Loved playing it with my father and sister. Would be awesome to be able to play it again. Many types of characters, each with their own skills; weapons whose effects are unknown in each level until you test them in an alien (maybe they hurt them, maybe they evolve, maybe they multiply!); different maps with enviromental hazards as no oxygen or fire. Hope I can play it again!

I played the demo to death when I was younger, I loved the 'Aliens' vibe to it, and for the longest time I had forgotten what this game was called. I would love to see it on here GoG just to be able to play the full game. Anyone who enjoyed Star Trek: Away Team, might like this, it plays like an earlier version of that.

One of the best part of this game is that you don't have to play every level, as the game will unlock 3 levels after the one you have just completed. For example if you finish level 5, you can play levels 6, 7, and 8. If 7 is too difficult, you can play level 8 and unlock levels 9, 10, and 11. You do have to play the final level in order to see the ending though. The challenging part is the various weapons/items on the map would have a different effect each time you loaded a level. So you could play level 5 one time and the Electrolaser does Medium Damage. The next time you play level 5 the Electrolaser will do Multiply effect (hit one alien, it turns into two aliens). The time after that the Electrolaser has the Shrink effect (Alien -> Grub -> Cocoon -> dead). So even the same mission will require different tactics. I would like this game on GoG as the CD is starting to fail and the game no longer installs on Win10.

Lost my nurse to alien plant eating her slowly. Time for payback! I also want to play again that defence mission where you had a lot of soldier al massed at the only door kicking and punching aliens coming in (mission n.5 - Swarm)
The Demo was so hard and gave me Nightmares. My Mom could not be convinced to buy it for me as a child...........................now I come back as a manchild.

One of the best games I have ever played. Started played demo as a child in nineties and then got full game for Christmas. After so many years I sometimes play this game. For example I have finally found out how to play multiplayer missions. But on latest operating systems this game don't work so well so little bit optimization couldn't harm.

I have the original CD of this game and it was freaking difficult when I played it as a kid. Will love to be able to have it on GoG to enjoy it on the future with my kids
A gruelling challenging but exceptionally entertaining game. I recall rushing to get one of the squad to find the Big Yellow Loader - precisley the one from the classic Aliens film that our Ripley uses to smash up the Alien Queen. It wasn't just alien style enemies that were brutal - to x-com levels - that stood in your squads way. There were different environmental hazards that blocked any advance. See a pathway on fire? Go find a Fire Extinguisher and solve the problem. This game for me was way ahead of it's time. I'ts a shame I feel that it has been long forgotten but it deserves to be immortalised and bought back into the limelight. An unknown classic that paved the way for the likes of Fallout:Tactics and any top down Squad based strategy that followed. Each squad member was uniwur witht heir own skills. Tactically this game challenged every single one o fus that gave it a go. Various Items were subject to the RNG gods from playthrough to playthrough. A weapon on level 2 may do high damage, yet in the next playthrough it may only do medium damage. This game was seriously tough and would present a challenge to any modern gamer. Unfortunately modern gaming has somewhat dumbed down a lot of what was part of the old skool gaming charm. Those of us who gamed a while ago in the Commodore 64 and Mega Drive days (golden era for me) will relish the challenge and enjoy it as we did all those years ago. A genre defining game (in my opinion) like this deserves to be near the very pinnacle of Good Old Games and should be immortalised for all to see and experience.
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Dune
DuneDune is a 1992 video game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name. Developed by Cryo Interactive, is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune blended adventure with economic and military strategy, and is considered by many the most immersive Dune computer game. Loosely following the story of the novel, the game casts the player as Paul Atreides, with the ultimate goal of driving the Harkonnen from Planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military, and later, ecology through the native Fremen tribes. As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.

Dune 2000
Dune 2000Real-time strategy taking place in Frank Herbert's "Dune" universe. The game is a remake of a classic RTS game "Dune 2". Player can play as a commander of one of three different factions: Harkonnen, Atreides or Ordos. Do you like the feeling you get when you have won over someone? If it was something that we had really worked hard, then the fell of victory is something precious and incalculable. The game Dune 2000 could help in giving your competitive spirit a new edge. It is an updated version of the Dune II. In this game the player would have to fight for an interesting thing; the control of the spices in the galaxy. The spices control could make you the most powerful there. The player has to choose to be one of the three houses first: Atreides, Harkonnen, or Ordos. Each house has its own vice and virtue and the right selection could give the player right start to the game but he could learn as well as, later in the game with time. Once you choose a side, you to win the King’s challenge of producing the most amount of spice. It won’t be as easy as it sounds. For getting the control of the spices, the player has to fight over the other two houses by all means. Dune 2000 is done with enough of stunt and live-in scenes to pep up the theme and there is a soothing sound score to add to the overall theme. It’s a game based on the Dune series book of Frank Herbert and gives the player a real pleasure of both combat and competition.
