When I started my adventure with PCs in the early '90s, I was in love with Theme Hospital. I asked my parents to buy it for my birthday. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, my mom couldn't find it, but a guy at the computer store recommended Emergency: Fighters for Life. When I saw it, I wasn’t thrilled at first... but once I started playing, a new love began. :)

In the 90s there was this game called Emergency: Fighters for Life, which wasn't super amazing, but was really fun to play by couple year old me. During those times, Anno games and The Settlers were the top of the games for little me, but when I sat down with Emergency's singple mission demo, I was taken in by it. I worked my butt cleaning around the house to earn those valuable money and got myself original game. Man, it was a tough game. Even now, years later, when game is pretty much abandonware, I do tend to come back to it. It works sometimes, but due to issues with graphic cards and newer systems, it has some issues. It would be better to be let into this program, just because all other sequels of it were released on steam. I wish I could play it in its "unbroken" state, again.
I played this a lot as a kid. Well... The first 3 missions or so. I got stuck on the race track one and would just play the first couple missions over and over. I haven't played it in decades and would love to give it another go! Maybe I'll actually get to see what happens after the race track. I also loved this unique style of RTS. Rather than base building and combat, it was dispatching and emergency services!
