I played this game a for a considerable portion of my childhood, and I still play it now on consoles, being able to play it for a reasonable price on a computer would be a dream come true. I loved the heck out of all the mission, especially playing as scrin. The skirmish modes are fire too, 8/10 game, 2 points off because it could def have had a bit more complex ai and formation stuff, and it lags bad if you get too many troops on the map at once.
This is a game I got from my uncle when I was a kid. I didn't have a PC with DVD drive back then. I used to wait for my parents to go somewhere and I used to install it on their laptop and play. Such times.... I never played the multiplayer, but the campaign, long skirmishes waging war using engineers....
Through a lot of my childhood I had no or satellite internet, but with my dad being interested in games and introducing my brother and I to this and many other incredible games, we became obsessed. Especially with Tiberium Wars as one of the first games we could play together, at first having to share the one disk we had but found a way to VS each other through one and spent countless hours trying to keep bragging rights over each other as brothers do. I must have played the campaign 1000 times, finding myself playing with those little army men and imagining the different factions through them. I find myself walking down memory lane every few years when I'm reminded of this game and hope to always have the possibility to further down the line, and show my future kids some of the games that had an impact on me.

Each house has its own vice and virtue and the right selection could give the player right start to the game but he could learn as well as, later in the game with time. Once you choose a side, you to win the King’s challenge of producing the most amount of spice. It won’t be as easy as it sounds. For getting the control of the spices, the player has to fight over the other two houses by all means.
Dune 2000 is done with enough of stunt and live-in scenes to pep up the theme and there is a soothing sound score to add to the overall theme. It’s a game based on the Dune series book of Frank Herbert and gives the player a real pleasure of both combat and competition.Action Science fiction
