This game was the go-to game I played with friends in school. Its story is still funny, it is a milestone in game history and would be an instant buy, if GOG would bring it back and made it playable on modern OS
This was by far one of the most fun games I've ever played. The storyline is intentionally campy, and silly. It's glorious. The modding scene is keeping this alive and well. The biggest mod is Mental Omega.
Red Alert 2 solidified my love for the RTS genre - I had so much fun playing it. Westwood was firing on all cylinders with this game and I shall never forget my experience playing it.
It simply is among the best RTS games ever made. The FMVs ride a fine line between campy and serious, the graphics are top-notch and have extremely strong art direction, and the factions are varied and have a strong identity.
The game deserves to be on a platform that is DRM-free and ensures it can play on modern systems without hassle. It shouldn't just be a memory of aging gamers but something everyone can enjoy today.
The absolute GOATs of Win9X-era RTS games. My dad loved playing this well into the 2000's and even early 2010's until he had to upgrade to a PC and OS that didn't support the DRM on the CDs anymore. Would love nothing more than for him finally be able to play them on his current PC without too much fuss. Some QoL improvements could be nice as well to give better support for larger display resolutions by default.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions.
