two of the best castlevania games that both are a huge pain to play these days. Konami has actually done a really good job porting old CV games to PC, but they're missing 2 of the most iconic games in the series, which is a crying shame.
I wrote individual stories for these games that I won't rehash here. These are the two most important Castlevania titles that have never seen an official release on pc, and arguably the best in the series. The low voting for these entries is disappointing, but I'll keep the faith that they'll make it to pc someday.
Although I never got to play rondo of blood growing up I did play and finish symphony of the night multiple times and it never gets old. Would gladly pay for a native pc port although a remake with widescreen support I would spend more on.
Yea we need this collection to STOP BEING A PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVE. These are the two most iconic entries in the Castlevania series and still can only be played on PSP, PS4 and PS5 which is a tradgedy
Hell yeah symphony of the Night needs to be on PC period. What a great metroidvania. Multiple weapons shields and enemies. Amazing gameplay and accuracy. And the story was epic.
HOW these have not made it to the PC yet baffles me. These are EASILY the BEST entries this franchise has ever produced. I mean, Symphony ALONE deserves praise for what it emulates from Metroid, it's part of where the "Metroidvania" term comes from. These games were amazing when they released, they are amazing now. They deserve to be playable for all time honestly. The challenge in finding what you need to succeed, keeping areas locked, but still accessable if the player was creative enough. Oh the hours of my life spent with these titles.
