Another classic I played on the good old amiga. it is your typical dungeon crawler but with a sci-fi setting. I did play this after first playing the 2nd one as back then getting games was a pain when living in the middle of nowhere and sometimes you'll find games like this in car boot sale. Which I did a few years after it was released, and Thank the gaming gods the folk who sold it kept the manual as without it you are locked out of the game. Not much difference between the DOS and Amiga version both are great.
One of the all time classic masterpieces on Amiga from my childhood. Such a great game. Kept me coming back for more. The game was soooo addictive and huge! Amazing to think how much was crammed into the game for the size of it. Please can this be purchasable once more!!

One of the best games with unique dungeon story and game play. It combines tactics until you destroy the base and then you must be fast enough to escape. Lots of weapons ans upgrades for your bot crew

I have seen this first on an Amiga, as I saw the 2 floppy disk PC Version it was an instant buy. Unfortunately it didn't run well on my pc, and after playing for days there was a blocked riddle, couldn't play further, maybe a damaged floppy disc. All in all nice space dungeon crawler.
Played this to death on my Atari STE back in the day. One of the best dungeon crawlers out there. Definitely a day one purchase for me if this gets brought back.
I never finished it. I have to finish it some day. Would be nice to play it on GOG. a very large game for its era with lots of exploration. The premise is you are a prisoner and you must use four remote controlled robots to break you out of jail. But you have no idea what planet you are on...
I absolutely loved that a sci-fi dungeon master, I had it on pc, it was HUGE I never thought it could be so big, the bases gets larger and larger every time, you gotta plan your escape well after you blow up the base and after you finish it... it starts in a NEW MAP?!?! saying mission 0002? I never made it past the fifth base of mission 0002 I wonder how many more there were or if there was an actual END to it.
I've only had the opportunity to play a demo of Captive on the Atari ST and while it only gave a taste of what the full game offered it did show a game trying to take dungeon crawlers forward in new ways. The most fascinating aspect is the sheer number of levels available due to procedural generation which could add a huge element of long term playability. These kinds of features have become more common across genres now but seeing an early trendsetter back on GOG would be another win.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.
