My favourite hidden object game of all time. I replayed it many times, before the physical disc I owned stopped working.
The most memorable/fun thing in the game, for me, was finding the "bonus items" in the environments. Finding them was 100% optional, but basically you'd gather these domino style tiles that you could combine to buff your stats, like a quicker cooldown for the Hint function, stuff like that. It made it rewarding to go through old areas with a fine tooth comb, and rewarded you for the effort.
The game was pretty to look at, and while it only had a handful of characters to interact with, they were all visually pretty memorable. The plot was nice, the vampire lore was different, and I liked how it had two endings, based on your own choice.
I would love to see this game on GOG because, in its simplicity and dark edge, it's my favourite hidden object game of all time. It was more mature than most hidden object adventures I've played, it was challenging without being frustrating, very casual and fun. The physical DVD version of the game is bricked these days, so I would love to see a digital version some day.
