Story:Blinx: The Time Sweeper is a platform game developed by Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released for the Xbox on October 7, 2002. A sequel, Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space, was released for the Xbox in 2004.
This is the best game about a time manipulating cat who saves a world from evil space pigs ever made. Of course, it might also be one of the only ones (ignoring the sequel, that one is also okay though).
I used to play this game all the time (almost non-stop) between 2014 and 2020, finding new ways to break the game (with glitches/bugs) and exploring almost every single triangle in every single stage (this game doesn't use quads before anyone tries to correct me!)
The visuals hold up really well for a game from 2002 and the character designs are great. When you know what you're doing, blasting through the levels can be really fun (speedrunners have even managed to beat the game in under an hour!)
This game is very dear in my heart, not only is the game very fun along it’s unique mechanic, “Time Control”, but it’s like others said challenging but not too bad once you got the right Time Crystal Combo and a good layout of the map! I really enjoyed fighting Time Monsters, Time Bosses, and the occasional Tom-Tom.
Blinx be cute as heck and I would seriously recommend to anyone who either has Game Pass or if they can get their hands on a disc copy! 🐱⏱️
This 3d platformer game is unrivaled and has never been released on anything other than the xbox.
For some reason I can't buy the original version in my country so I would be happy if it was ported to pc.
This game has a very scrunkly funky wunky little mascot guy. The gameplay is very challenging even with a controller that can move fast diagonally like you see in speedruns, the music slaps, and the character designs are great (thank you Naoto Ohshima!). Having it available on every xbox model is also a big plus!

I played this on my Xbox with my brother when I was I child. God we loved this! First the design is beautiful, the game was very hard and we probably never finished it! We are cat lovers, you can tell why we loved Blinx! We've been talking about trying to play this again for ages! Now that we're both 33+ yo it's due for having those good memories again
The Xbox library may be slowly making its way to PC, but it can't come soon enough. Blinx is a 3D platforming title that hasn't gotten his fair second chance to shine again with a sizable audience. The graphics on the original Xbox were ahead of their time, and getting to scale them up to modern standards would REALLY allow them to shine.
