by Atari, Midway Manufacturing
Story:Asteroid was originally developed by Atari for Midway in fulfillment of a contract to supply one video game and one pinball machine. This entry should really be Space Race, which was released first and the original development. It's a very simplistic game overall and has the disadvantage of being a transistor-transistor logic (TTL) game which means it's not software emulatable. I believe an FPGA does exist for it.
