It is a kind of sequel of Mad World, one of Platinum Games' most stylish games.
Its PvP mode is fast-paced, frantic, stylish with colorful characters and random events and items. Every character is OP so none of them were.
It was the best game on the PS3 to just jump in and do Death Ball, a 3-man CTF or a Battle Royale with 16 people.
I want this on GoG because it could be a great jump-in game and Platinum has released some of their games on PC already, but overlooked this one.
The arena fighter that should have been the blueprint for hundreds more to come. The original Battle Royale. Anarchy Reigns was PlatinumGames' take on the 3rd person melee action genre and it was perfect. Multiple modes to jump in and just see ABSOLUTE CHAOS. Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Dogfight(3v3 HELICOPTER BATTLES), Top this all off with a soundtrack that has spread so far and wide it's used for several edits and compilations. It is truly a cult classic
Anarchy Reigns is actually one of the reasons my husband and I started dating. We met in high school and became fast friends. He told me later that one of the things that made me stand out to him was that I liked Anarchy Reigns! We never played it together, but it's a game I have fond memories of. I've always loved the personality of this game, and I think it's currently only available on PS3. I don't have my PS3 anymore, so I would love love love to see this game make its way onto pc.

This was very sletped game no fault of the game itself. This game is pure hype for beat them ups that are in the mad world universe (Another game that should be on GoG) Each character have their quirks and personalitys and a short solo campaign game. However the multiplayer can be choatic really fast and it is amazing!
Of all the 3D arena fighters made, this is both a criminally underrated Platinum game and easily one of the best to do what other arena fighters fail at - still feeing like a fighting game. Anarchy Reigns (Max Anarchy) is 1 part sandbox action, 1 part robust fighting game and 2 parts pure chaos wrapped in a stealth sequel to Madworld. I remember grinding this game to near completion my last year of high school before my old ps3 kicked the bucket.
