Great Fun
A lot of fun. Not every class can use ranged weapons, you have to have the right class in your party. A little bit of grinding.

Gut aber nicht Konsequent
Vorneweg: Ich würde dem Spiel eine 3,5 geben. Gerade der Anfang hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Dutzende von Mitstreitern, die man auf Missionen schickt und Klassen mit speziellen Fähigkeiten, auch außerhalb von Kämpfen, waren spaßig und haben motiviert. Ab dem 4. oder 5. Akt dachte ich, dass es nun langsam zum Ende kommen sollte, doch es zog sich und war auch nicht mehr so abwechslungsreich. Ich wollte an der Stelle schon aufhören, doch nach dieser langweiligen Phase ging es wieder etwas spannder zur Sache und weitere 10 Stunden standen noch an. Die Spielmechaniken sind gut, der rundenbasierte Kampf geht schnell von der Hand, doch hat man sich schnell an paar Standardmoves eingestellt. Auch ist der Output von Loot inflationär, ohne das es unbedingt Sinn macht. Die UI ist Ok, doch wäre es schön gewesen, wenn ein wenig mehr Tooltip dabei gewesen wäre. Manches war nicht immer verständlich. Das Balancing ist ausreichend. Ich habe auf schwer gespielt und hatte nur einen Wipe, also eigentlich etwas zu leicht - zumindest wenn man wirklich auf Max. Level geht. Mit etwas mehr Feinschliff, wäre Zoria ein Meisterkandidat . Man kann nur hoffen, dass das Spiel Erfolgreich genug ist und die Entwickler einen zweiten, verbesserten Teil herausbringen können.

Pretty vanilla.
There's nothing really great about this game. Character creation is constrained, dialogue is boring, combat is tedious, and pretty much all of the mechanics are worn out. There's nothing novel or engaging, nor clever or creative. The world building is mediocre. I've yet to encounter a puzzle of any kind... so it's really just "run to this map point, kill some dudes, return to the quest giver, repeat." Maybe there's some a compelling storyline buried in there somewhere, but I've yet to find it. It's a reasonably good game when you consider that it was made by a team of 3 people, but that doesn't make it actually good. Hell, even Stellar Tactics - with a team of 1 dude - has some novel concepts and ideas. I originally hadn't planned on buying this after playing the demo, but I saw it on sale and had a bored night and tried it. The gameplay is actually quite different (and better) than the prologue, but my initial instinct was right - I should've passed. The only reason I won't be refunding it is because I kinda feel bad for the devs. They clearly worked very hard on it and I'm sure it's the best they could do with a team of just 3 people. It's just a bummer they didn't have access to a bit more diversity of thought when creating the world or the game mechanics. As a heads up to people with less capable GPUs: for some reason this game makes my GPU periodically sound like a jet engine. Something about the graphics processing uses 100% of a RTX3070Ti whenever it's in the foreground; there's no performance impact, but not even playing Cyberpunk 2077 did my GPU get hot enough to kick on the fan like that. It's unclear how lower-tier cards will handle it. IMO, you'd be better off buying something like Divinity: Original Sin for similar game style with substantialy better world building and more unique gameplay mechanics.

Great little gem of a game
Give it a try - I really enjoyed it. I tried out various squad combinations which was really fun. do remember that for certain areas you will need a certain character class such as a priest to dispel or a kingsman to open locked gates. I found nearly all of the lvl 19 epic armor recipes except for my main character which was a ranger. So I ended up fighting the boss with 3 followers with epic armor and my main with the normal armor. I also never found a golden bow recipe above lvl 15. Crafting gives you the best weapons / armor so make sure to use it . Recomended
