Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders

There are a lot of quirks and ways to get caught - but overall I have so must warm nostalgia for this game.

2 versions of the game in the F5 menu after launch, both the increased graphical version and the what im guessing is the second itteration of the game (the one i played in my childhood, but im guessing there is 1 earlier version than that aswell) Runs great on my windows 10 laptop, with no issues so far. Old but gold, definetly worth a playthrough!

Featuring zany humor, alien conspiracies, globetrotting adventure, and interesting puzzles - what's not to love?? Nearly 30 years after it was released, this is still one of the best-written adventure games of all time. Following Maniac Mansion, this title helped launch the golden era of the Adventure genre!

This game is easily the worst of the Lucasarts point-and-click-ventures. That said, it's still a Lucasarts point-and-click-venture, so it still is enjoyable. I played this game a TON as a kid but never beat it until I played it again as an adult. The puzzles are mostly good, with one or two that are pretty tough. I did end up looking up a guide a few times when I got totally stumped. The thing that really brings this game down, however, are the freaking MAZES. There are, like, 5 mazes in this game that have you wandering around, sometimes in total darkness, for what can add up to HOURS. It really is like they were trying to pad the game's length out. Even without the frustration of the mazes, though, the story and puzzles aren't as good as Maniac Mansion or even Loom. Still a decent game though.

This brings back memories. My very first point and click adventure game. I was around 8 years old and played it on my brothers Commodore 64 with the huge floppy disks. It's an awesome game with lots of humor, weird characters and most importantly a two headed squirrel!!!! Buy it you won't regret it.
