Dying:A game Chance
The premise does sound nice but the execution lacks a lot to be desire. First of all, you only have one week to search for clues and a radio, the problem being that in one week of game time is not enough to search the whole town for all the clues. Second, to search a place, be a house or a "special place"(Stores, Banks, Warehouses, etc.) you have to "breach" the place as in "break in". The problem here is that theres is now way to indicate if that place is actually safe. You can send a survivor to "Investigate" but most time it will give you the wrong numbers of zombies inside a house In every play through, a survivor would tell that the special place had 0-3 zombies, just after breaching, my survivors ends up getting a game over or getting killed because actually it had 11-20 zombies... SO every time you breach it boils to a game of chance of how many survivors are going to get killed or get a game over. Feels like every breach is just like picking a Chance card from Monopoly, it could be good but in this game most of the cards are bad or kills 1-5 survivors. The game as it is looks like now, it leaves everything to chance, too much to chance. The game wants you to take it slowly but if you do you wont the to the chopper rescue, if you take it fast, theres a high probability that a any breach (even the first breach you do) can get you a game over. Wait for a sale or wait until they fix the game.
