Worms United

I can't even begin to recall all the hours I played this game. With my brothers, it has been for years THE game we would play whilst seating on the same bench in front of the computer. The war would wage both on and off screen. Shotgun, ninja rope, Uzi, baseball bat, and even some other things we did not know at this time because we were young French guys playing an English game. All that I know is that I even prefer this one compared to the latter version (Armageddon, World Party for example). Don't judge me, I'm ruled by my memories.

This is the absolute best version of worms on the PC (absolute best version is Worms: Director's Cut for Amiga), it's so simple to just play a quick game and it includes some amazing custom levels - and if you can figure out the palette restrictions it's super easy to make your own. If i could get back all the hours I've played this game for I'd use them to play it again.

Simply the best Worms game ever released. None of that ugly cutesy artstyle they started using from Worms 2 and onwards, just raw beautiful pixelated goodness. Just like with Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Doom, C&C Red Alert etc.... this is a timeless classic that can be played over and over.

For some odd reason, you just never tire of Worms. And while the newer versions certainly has more options, there's something unbeatable about the original. I've played this more than I care to think of, and it still rocks!
