Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior

While old and definitely showing if you don't mind that. Definitely worth a playthrough

I've played this game for some time now, and people have all sorts of complaints about it. Lackluster levels, boring combat, bugs, ect. But really, I find it quite enjoyable. Half of the bugs these people talk about have been mostly fixed. I enjoy the game, and while it may feel a bit dated, its a good game.

Really well done resurrection of a good old game! Works well 'straight out of the box' on Windows 11, which you cannot say for many much more recent games that just get abandoned by the big greedy studios! If you fancy some old school simple FPS action, with a really well implemented W40K atmosphere, you can't go wrong with this. Thank you GOG!

Even without comparing this to other Warhammer 40,000 titles, this is a joke of a game. There's almost no visual connection to the lore and the graphics are low quality even for its time. The player must return to the game launcher to make meaningful configuration changes. The game announce the player progress during play but then upon starting the game next session all progress was forgotten. Many others have reported this elsewhere. This game is not even suitable to be a GOG giveaway.
