Wowwww !!!!
I played it, around 25 years before. Really good memories about this game, even with dated graphics, the ambiance is here and the story is good, even if classic.

Gore and a sense of danger!
As title, but for those not aware. This game has realtime combat. What this means is, you have to sometimes deal with a tank control scheme. Even against fast moving instant kill monsters. While most of the time you can avoid battle altogether, some encounters cannot be avoided. The save and load of a game is needed. On the bright side, the really dangerous creatures can have solutions to curb the fight sometimes. So talk to everyone, not trying to kill you to eitjer find items or give help!

Recommended
The UI takes some getting used to, the movement is pretty janky, and combat is barely passable, but man do I love this game regardless. The story is fun, the puzzles are decent, and the blend of point & click adventure and ARPG elements feels just great.

A fine adventure and gothic horror tale
Ah, the good old days. This game is a tribute to all the classic horror movies and tales out there, featuring vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and zombies galore. The adventure part is solid, though it can be frustrating at times, it is never unfair. If your stuck completely, there is a hint-book available... The combat isn’t great, but it can mostly be avoided by running past common monsters or adjusting the settings accordingly. The hand-drawn cutscenes look awesome, and while the in-game graphics have aged, they are still acceptable.

Classic Masterpiece
An incredible journey to the Graphic Adventures era. This game has an amazing story, clever puzzles, and incredibly pixel graphics. Worth playingall these years later.
