Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

Political intrigue and blood feuds among modern-day vampire mafia-like families. Memorable characters (ah, the Twins) and places (ah, the Manor), great writing and plot (albeit weaker in the second half). Also, works very nicely with Wine, for all of us non-Windows users. Just don't forget to install the latest unofficial patch by Wesp, which fixes loooots of bugs that the developers didn't have the opportunity to fix when the company went down.

don't know what the other reviewers were talking about but this one is still has a cult following; for its time it still delivers great graphics and a very very deep rich and Gothic story. just also know there is a mod called VTMB as a companion mod that takes this game to a whole new level.(lol as if the game needs content but it is a fantastic mod) check out Youtube to see it in action. ive played this game many times over and there is always something new its just that deep. for you all vampyre lovers out there, this is it and for RPG fans in general?? lol you wont find too many games that are this well made... enjoy the darkness:)))

I can't say there aren't things I'd change if I could. The graphics and AI have not aged well, and there were some bits that made it to production unfinished. Nevertheless, if I were told that I could only ever play one game again in my life, this would be my first choice. I'm not even sure I'd call it an RPG in the classic sense-- it's more like an interactive story, but one so intense and evocative that it sucked me in in a way no other video game ever has. It wraps itself around your heart and mind until you're almost there. Wandering the silver mines and the tower of London honestly scared me, and had me jumping at every sound. I hated Count Orsi with a passion I've never before or since experienced in a game. My heart broke when a friend died, and I yelled with glee when another friend returned. And at the end, I literally stood up and cheered. It's an epic story of good vs evil, love and loss, friend and foe, and the conquering power of an honest heart.

One of my favorites games. Great history, great characters, i've played this game a lot of times. Great Game !!!
