Must play (with caveats)
The free one click install takes a previously janky game and makes it eminently playable on modern systems without researching patches and compatability issues. If you like atmospheric, immersive sims and/or RPGs with a focus on lore and story then this is absolutely a game to experience. Well done GOG.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines
Great game so far, only at the beginning but i'm hooked. Even though it came out in 2004 it still holds well, voice acting is good and so is the combat. Decent Story as well. Would recommend to people who haven't played it yet

Forever excellent
The Unofficial Patch has beeen almost indelable part of Bloodlines. It is almost a requirement in order to play the game. The base game on GOG comes with the Basic version of the patch. Just fixes to make the game work. This here is the Plus version - it restores content like dialogue, areas, and items. It will also change the position of some items from the base game. Overall, I have always loved Plus. The extra content just always feels like it belongs. And the changes do not make for a different game - you still get the same Bloodlines experience. Just a bit more of it. Which is always welcome. If this is your first time playing the game, I still advise playing without Plus. If only, so you can see the differences on a second playthrough.

best atmosphere
one of the best atmosphere heayvy games. althought gameplay might get a little bit wonky. It makes up by having good storyline(s) and funny dialogue.
