Barely a game
I understand that this game wasn't made with a big budget and the developers are probably inexperienced, so a simple game isn't inherently a bad one. Thomas Was Alone had a pretty simple story, very bare bones mechanics, and was made by one person. It was leagues better than this "game". The premise is that an old man is telling his faceless grandchildren how he met their grandmother when he was a kid and she challenged him to find randomly selected objects in various small towns around the world in the nebulous period from 1800-1950. And at the end of the game he finds her and they go someplace to bang behind a dumpster I guess. That's the entire story! The graphics are extremely stylized and simplistic, but they're also very buggy and borderline unfinished with NPCs randomly wandering the streets next to their identical twin or triplets, grass floating above the level in several stages, and fire GIFs clipping through the clay pots housing them. They're nothing impressive to look at, which again is fine. It's the gameplay that really makes this unfun. You're given a riddle and have to find an object relating to that riddle, then you slowly cross the level looking for it. When you find it, you get a different randomly selected riddle and continue the process. Do this for six areas and the last riddle is figuring out what Yeni Level Açıldı means because the last level completed message isn't translated. Nothing tries to stop you, there's no time limit, and the riddles are poorly translated either being completely obscure or way too obvious. So no story, stylized but poorly made graphics, and virtually no gameplay. The music is nice but occasionally also bugs out when trying to loop, leaving you in silence since the character doesn't make any noise walking, running (really wish the game told you it had a run toggle), or jumping. The game mercifully is under two hours but I want a refund.
