Tyrian 2000

Nothing to declare. Besides that my childhood is in this game

For a free game, must have. Even if it costs money, it's a must have. But it's free. Did I say it was free? That's insane.

Tyrian 2000 remains an amazing game, a fun shoot em up with an enjoyable upgrade system. However, at least on my machine, dosbox runs it really badly with stuttering and frequent crashes. i hope this is just me, as the game is worth anyones time.

I remember playing this game over and over again spending hours in front of the screen with my brother. The multiplayer co-op mode kept us down in the chair. Extremely fun, very nice graphics compared to other games of the time of the same genre, and the music was really well composed to create the atmosphere. And still one of the best games to play at one computer for two.

This game really scratches that customization itch. It's really fun to see what kind of beast of a ship you can make with the available credits you earn. This game is so good I don't know why it's free. But then again I might never have gotten it if it weren't, which would have been a shame. I love this already and have barely scratched the surface. Menus are a bit tricky with a controller in my case, but in game works great.
