GDPR vs. Unity Analytics!

1st There is a free public version trailing this monetized version by one release and a patreon version that this one is trailing. https://anduogames.wordpress.com/third-crisis/ 2nd Both free and purchased version use Unity Analytics, so they basically sell your personal data. Fair enough the opt-out option is given under CCPA. Other Devs don't even do that. GOG claims they follow European Legislation and GDPR requires opt-in. This game obviously violates GDPR unless the developer decides to comply. To sum it up, I don't think that paying 12,60EUR for this title is worth being spied on.

It's fun

This is mostly in response to some of the bad reviews left here that aren't really reviewing the game but instead the Unity features enabled or the suspected politics of the developer. This is a moral corruption based game where you play 'not tracer from overwatch'. You're, as described by another Steam reviewer, a sexually conservative lesbian whose significant other has been kidnapped by a shady, evil organization hellbent on corrupting women, turning them into second-class citizens and thrusting the world into some sort of horny hellscape. The gameplay varies. It's a competent turn-based grid-combat game during combat sections and everywhere else a 'choices matter' sort of VN. You can choose to roleplay the character and remain pure, in which case there isn't much in the way of H-content ( as is the case with most moral corruption games ) or you can choose to become a sex-crazed bisexual of sorts in which case you start delving into more of the games content but after a certain 'perversion' score you more or less lose the ability to make your own decisions and the game stops being an RPG and becomes even more of a VN than it already was. The art is good and the game runs well. What I've played has been really high quality and outside of some annoying bugs, fun. That's really all I have to say about it at the moment. The game is still in active development so more content is getting added ( at least on Steam. I don't know if or how often the gog version receives updates ). It may be the case that unity analytics are on so if that matters to you, then you can choose not to get the game. Additionally, I don't think there is some 'anti-lgbtq' agenda around this game. It's a moral corruption game and it's doing what moral corruption games do. People are just way too sensitive and probably should have read the description for the game before buying it.

Very Solid Entry in the Hentai Genre

Even in it's unfinished early access state, the game has quite a bit to offer, and the price is good, moreso if you get it on special. For a game of this kind, it offers solid gameplay, many choices and consequences, multiple endings with multiple end game areas with their own set of quests. The combat, equipment and stats are surprisingly good for this kind of game. The changes that occur when you wear or not wear certain items and their effects are a pleasant surprise, again unexpected from a game of this kind. This being said, you are reminded often that the game is not finished by many quirks and inconsistencies. All in all a pleasant game experience, despite the fact i did not like the art style and that many H-scenes were rather disgusting to my taste, so i skipped them a lot. The game story is about an evil corporation trying to take over the world by artificially enhancing the sex drives of the population, turning them all into sex addicts. This is actually a good theme in my opinion. The problem starts when this main theme interferes with the lesbian gameplay promise the devs made. Sure the main char is a girl and she has a girlfriend and there are the usual lesbian tropes in the game, one of the endings is purely lesbian love, there are the standard lesbian submission domination and humiliation cliches...BUT....the problem is that given the main theme of the game, the characters (including the main char) can become sex addicts depending on player choices, and as such the female main char will actually enjoy sex with males and that, for lesbians, is a deadly sin, a no-no. From a lesbian player point of view this is correct, but if the game was made for lesbians alone, it would tank horribly, since only a small percentage of women are lesbians. The mistake of the devs was to promise too much lesbian content, the mistake of the lesbian players was to start hating without even considering the story background and the feasability of their demands.

More than one way to play.

It's a dystopic story where the heroes had failed and you get the chance to fight back or give in to the attempted brainwashing and control of the population. You can do a 100% "pure" run, and even get your girlfriend back if you play it right, or you can sink into depreavity and let them win. There's even a dialog option in the meeting after you find her again (not saying why it happens, as that would be spoilers) that lets you show some determination, or just give up in depressed frustration. Good place to make a second save, by the way, keep your "pure" run separate from a corruption based one as giving up pretty much fast tracks you to all the "bad ends" you can have. Almost all the H scenes are in the corruption path so, if you're just looking for hentai, Sweliz isn't far off, but the game doesn't have to turn out that way and there's achievements for staying true and fighting to win. Amazingly enough the gameplay ins't that bad, a bit of adcventure mixed with some VN elements and a strategy combat system. I've played the version on Itch.io, so I'm a little behind, but I assume this copy is the same as the Steam release that gives you the full current version of the game with the extra scenes unlocked. None of which have, so far, been relevant to a pue run but that's to be expected since all the paid content is hentai scenes and gallery unlocks.

So.. naughty RPG

So, its like RPG, but naughty. I like that the main focus is not combat, since thats not why you would buy this game anyway. But I dont mind that there is some, and that its like turn based tactic. The story is fun, and sometimes hot, its also a bit hit and miss, and you will like some bits more then others. As of animations.. some are good, however, I am suppose to play as the female here, and I feel like most of the sex encounters is viewed from the male perspective, POV... so then I dont feel like I am playing the female, and this is a let down to me personally. As a woman wanting to be the woman in the story, the male perspective for some of the sex is bad. I think it should either be from the womans perspective, or show both the characters, the male and the female... so it feels a bit like its made for men... the game, which is a big shame.. because there is enough sex games out there for men, would it be to much to ask that someone made on just for the girls and kind of dont care if the men will like it or not... I mean you playing as the girl.. so I bet most buyers would be women anyway... and they be like scratching their heads "was this actually made for men?" sigh... anyway that POV is what breaks my immersion the most. And why I wont give it full stars.
