The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

You will find many, many people who will tell you that this is their favourite game - and a lot of them will even claim it's the best game of all time. They are not far from the truth at all. It has everything you need. Compelling and fleshed-out characters, captivating main story, side quests which are actually side QUESTS (odd predicaments and strange adventures), decent amount of interesting choices to make, superb atmosphere, smooth combat, great graphics, good humour, tough moral conundrums, dark European fantasy art style, slavic folk music, dick jokes and tiddy. Just taking a walk through the game's cities, villages and natural habitats... it feels good. It feels good to do nothing, and yet there's so much to do.

Even after finishing the game and the DLC's a second time, I haven't got enough of this game. It's beautifully made, the story feels real, and you will be challenged by every decision you have to make. Even if you don't know the (full) Witcher books/series, you will enjoy this game! :)

I have played the Witcher 3 GOT on PS4 but will replay it on PC soon. One of the best RPGs I have ever played. Main Character and NPCs: Geralt and his personality is convincing from minute 1 to the endgame. The NPCs are adorable and one can kinda fall in love with some of them (romancing). The mix between main story and sidequests is excellent. Also the recommended player lvl as indicator very useful to have a kind straight forward progress in this huge open world. The world: full of minor and major decisions all with some consequences later in the game. An impressive overlap of decisions in sidequests on how the main story develops. DLCs: impressive, While Hearts of Stone gives you a good opportunity to catch up with leveling your character before finishing the main story of the core game, it is also integrated perfectly in the story. Blood & Wine is for me exactly how the endgame in an open world should look like. Completed it after the main story of the core game. Lovely Toscana atmosphere. The picture of the end sequence is still in my head and it fulfilled me as a player after so many hours with full satisfaction and proudness that I finished the storyline of this great game. Being a 3rd person advanture it is perfect to play it with a gamepad. The world of Witcher is huge, but also extremely rewarding with a great mix of difficulty-challange and progress. The game offers a very atmospheric experience full of emotions, action and an exciting story.

There are games that define a genre. Witcher 3 was far too late to have done that. But then there are games that take everything there is in that genre and take it to the next level. This is what Witcher 3 has done. The combination of graphics (+animations, weather effects), sound effects, music (!) and story telling is still unmatched, even after 8 years. And just when you think you have seen it all, you start the add on "Hearts of Stone" and witness the most beautiful display of a peasants´ wedding in gaming history. Finally, you are in for another surprise in "Blood and Wine". This game is ART.

I have played a lot of games over the last decade, and I can say without a doubt that Witcher 3 is the best game I have ever played. Everything from the visual design, game world, gameplay mechanics, etc. through to the brilliant story-telling perfectly executed in an open-world setting. CD Projekt RED has proven themselves absolute Masters at RPG game building and with this game, they have definitely set a new standard for the genre. A standard that will be very tough to match by any of the big players in the industry. I pity anyone who hasn't yet picked up this game and played it, even if RPGs isn't your first choice. thanks CD Projekt for beautiful game
