The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Wow! As someone new to The Witcher franchise, I was interested when TW3 got so much praise. It was hard at first to get into the game, bevasue early on, it has it's flaws, but nce you get going the payoff is worth it's weight in gold. The Witcher is a story-telling masterpiece. Never before have I played a game that got me to feel things that this game made me feel. TV shows and Movies do it all the time, but when a game is able to capture that heart and depth, it is something to be celebrated. Pros: - Graphics are insane. Buy on PC for best eperince. - Story (See above) - Characters. Many side quests give secondary and tertiary characters thier own deep and thoughtful story arc. - First act pulls you in, while the third act blows you away! Cons: - Combat early in the game. The learning curve is steep. Your best friend is the dodge (not roll) button - Painfully slow second act that left much to be desired. The third act makes up for it. - Had to mess witha few settings on my high end gaming PC to get 60 FPS, but once I did, it did not disapoint. The Witcher 3 may seem over-praised from an outsider, but once you play it, you will understand. Its not perfect, nothing ever is, but this game is the next best thing. Easiest 10/10 i've ever given a game.

This is most definitely the best game I've ever played. The world is alive and open. When you leave the real world and step into The Continent you are transported from the mundane to the marvelous. The characters you meet even on the remotest of side quests have more personality than most of the main characters you find in other games. Everything is unique. No two quests, character interactions, are the same. This gives the game a unique quality and experience that no other game has ever had to this level. Some have come close to the promise but CD Projekt delivers. It's a game I could play for decades and never tire of playing. It's a new experience and you find many many quests and new things even on a second playthrough you missed before. The combat is fun and the visceral finishers and mature, gritty and real violence make a game for men and women, not kids. Geralt is a very likable hero. I can't say enough about it. The story, characters Geralt, Triss, Yennifer, Ciri....just to name a few are each more flushed out than any game in history. Monster fights at various difficulty settings require Witcher knowledge, monster and magic research, spells, alchemy and extreme skill to accomplish and at the easier settings allow for a focus on story and feeling pretty heroic when you do fight. AAA+++++ 10/10 Stars. It is either the best RPG or one of a few greatest of all time like Baldurs Gate 2 of 17-18 years ago, Planetscape Torment or Dragon Age Origins.....but even better. It's the new HIGH MARK in RPG's. It's worth buying a new computer to play. It's that one in a thousand game you've been waiting for that you'll never tire of playing.

Your choices have matter and impact how the story develops. Combat is ok, quite same as in second game. Oh and its a long game, especially with the two story dlcs. There is lots of replay value in this game, but knowing how long it is my second playthrough won't happen very soon....:)

I started playing this game on a console because my pc couldn´t handle but i got to say this is one of the most amazing games I have played, and CD Projekt Red I have to say u are the best gaming company up to date, and the amount of time dedication,effort felt to the game truly deserving of the Game of the year edition. Thank u for the amazing story,plot,decision,choices,sidequests, adventures. Such a compeling World it kept me coming back for more and more, this is a game with such a dedication almost like a work of art. Sorry for bad english but 10/10 game and the dlc 2

Going through it a second time now. Man, if something happened to my copy, I know it won't/can't, I'd still shell out another 50 bucks for this massive, massive game. The story, IMO, is totally immersing...it's like you're living the game, not just playing it. The graphics are still amazing to me, so clear and vivid. CDPR really made this game shine with everything they put into it. Voice acting is fantastic, the characters are unique. The Xbox One controller I have jives perfectly with this game making gameplay smooth and fluid. I don't think I can top what most everyone has said already but, playing it a second time now, I just had to comment. If you are one of the few people who love RPGs but still haven't played this game and maybe you're worried about dropping 50 bucks on a game you aren't sure you'll like, you are cheating yourself out of one of the best, if not the best, RPGs of all time. I always Google gameplay for any game I buy, this game being no different, and was almost immediately hooked after I watched the gameplay for Witcher 3. This game became an obsession for me. It's a game which will stay with you and definitely has replay value. The excitement is still there for me on this 2nd round. This is the longest game I've ever played and it is definitely the most enjoyable RPG I have ever played. Everyone who enjoys a good RPG needs to experience this journey.
