The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

I fear a dissapointent, you know, cause this was my really first full price purchase (well, with a little discount for preorder...) and the first game i ever pre-order. I bet for GOG and CD Projekt from day 1 just for the DRM Free Policy. The best of all, the game turn out to be as great as the first (if not better, still playing it...). Thanks, really, GOG and CD Projekt, to give and trust this piece of art to us! I said this as an old Steam user, still a good service, but nowadays i see it just as any other cia made just to make money, while I found in GOG a real service for gamers... feel like GOG understand OLD TIME (like me) and new PC GAMERS ... PD: Sorry for the bad english, im from Argentina and usually speak (and write) in spanish...

I love this game. It's a perfect sequel to The Witcher. Too bad I didn't keep the save games. I'll replay TW1 later just to see what would be different in TW2. Gameplay is excellent. Geralt now flies and even when you're exploring. The graphics combined with Geralt's speed and pace of encounters coming your way is simply woundrous. Makes you feel like you're exploring with danger around any corner. They have plenty of places where you could admire the view... I didn't think it would matter much in a game but it simply works in TW2. I pre-ordered on GOG and also got someone to pre-order and bring the Collector's Edition into my country as Atari didn't seem fit to open up any pre-orders to the resellers here... I still haven't received my CE but it's not a big deal as I have this excellent DRM free edition from GOG. The best purchase I made in 2011 and I don't think any other game could come close to it. I have the other RPG that was supposed to be a great sequel and after a day of playing... I simply stopped. Maybe I'll get around to that lacklutre sample when I've played a few run throughs of The Witcher 2...

With the new graphics engine and the time spent on both the world and character detail. This game from top to bottom is a joy to play. It would be nice if they would patch the controller support so the analog sticks weren't so sensitive, as well as make objects you interact with a bit easier to spot. Other then that, this game is worth every penny. And if you have a computer that can power the fully detail of the graphics, it rivals and beats anything else out there right now. Bravo!

Excellent Game. One of the best adult role playing games of all time and without a doubt game of the year. Puts Dragon Age 2 or Mass Effect 2 to shame.

Two things first: I don't usually like RPGs, such as this one. And I'm not through with the game yet, as of writing this. This game took me by surprise. I was not into Dragon Age at all, but I decided to give this a try, and I'm happy that I did. Splendid and fluent combat, intriguing controls, superb presentation with stellar music compositions and epic visuals that sucks you right in and goes along with a captivating story and interesting characters. You deserve to try this.
