If i was a millionaire....

i would buy the witcher 1 rights and give it away for free, is the best gift any game lover could get, it shows you so many well thought stories, a very elegant combat system and a very realistic world in terms of how you have to do things. I have played video games since I'm 5, I'm 30 now, i think is the best game i have ever played so far. PS: I'm not saying is perfect, nothing is, but is damn close to it.

One of the finest RPG ever produced

Mature and dark theme, ambiguous moral choices, satisfying combat, fantastic story, good graphics, women! What's not to love? And I do recommend reading the original Witcher novels (or rather collection of short stories). Helpes with the atmosphere.

very pretty but not for me

Pros: great graphics atmosphere considering the GOG price, a very good deal Cons: boring and simplistic combat very predictable quests and errands....go get that potion, then go get another one.....that was boring No witty dialogues, too serious and boring In the end, not for me. I bought Neverwinter Nights and I can say that I am amazed. NWN runs circles around The Witcher, for great detail, dialogue, high quality orchestral soundtrack.....really a great game, I suggest you get NWN and try that first !

The best.

Definitely one of the best (if not the best) game I have ever played. I already bought this before on steam but I had to support somehow with something else CD Projekt RED. I loved your game and I can't wait to buy and play The Witcher 2 as soon as possible. I've only heard but marvelous words about Witcher 2, they say it is even better than the first, that I must see. Please keep making games like these, they are unique and beautiful. It is hard to find a game even close to what The Witcher offers. Thank you.

I find it frustrating...

That I die almost immediately without doing significant damage to the enemy in any real battle. Perhaps I lack skill, but this pretty much has turned me off the game entirely after a half dozen attempts going nowhere.
