Close to perfect
I played The Witcher for the first time in 2019 and the game has aged so well because of the non-trivial story, beautiful graphics, and mood. One guy at the Steam forum has written "why is it so hard to be the good guy in this game" and I think it's the best summary - every choice you make is hard if you think about moral implications and this is what makes this game great. This is also the thing that makes it even better in the eyes of The Witcher novel series lovers as the original idea of the world drawn out in the books has been preserved, together with a twisted, coarse, bitter sense of humor. What the game lacks to be perfect is some logical holes in some quests, occasional bugs and a little too much fight from time to time to the point it becomes boring, but then the story pushes forward and you begin to love the game once again. It's definitely one of the best games I have ever played even though I played it 12 years after it had been released.
Hilft dir das weiter?
