Great JRPG
The story and characters are extremely anime-like, I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. What is good is the world building and the combat, very addictive. It's always entertaining.

A game I fell in love with
This game is more than a worthy continuation of the first part and of the Trails series in general. Its story is very interesting, especially its character development, how you get attached to them and how good it feels to help them in the conflict they are living. Its gameplay is also very good with so many options to create strategies and if you break the game with the ultimate strategy and you find it too easy you can always choose the nightmare difficulty if challenges are your thing. To say it's perfect would be an exaggeration, but at least I can say that its successes make it very satisfying. It's a game you should do yourself the favor of playing one time in your life.
