crashes due to save sync not working
Game itself is good but have had to reload it 3 times due to it freezing with a save sync issue

Convoluted story.....puzzles confusing.
Not sure about great reviews here. I had to have the walk through the entire time. The story meandered and seemed forced. I mean....REALLY random. I have a high tolerance for that in point and clicks. Worth the price I guess since I always compare these to the price of a Hollywood movie.

Starts strong, ends weak
A fantastic story and excellent characterization is brought down by uninspired puzzles, poor presentation, lack of interaction and rushed production values. Really falls apart towards the end and feels somewhat unfinished and underdeveloped. If you like good stories and don't mind poor payoffs and inconsistent presentation then this is for you, otherwise don't bother.

miserables Gameplay, unzählige Mängel
Deutscher Computerspielpreis (DCP) Preisträger 2014: Bestes Deutsches Spiel: The Inner World Ich bezeichne dieses Spiel als Software-Müll! Über die Präsentation des Spiels mache ich mir keine Gedanken. *? Das Gameplay ist miserabel. Die unzähligen Datail-Mängel im Spiel verhindern so etwas wie Spiel-Spasz. Sich wiederholende Dialoge nerven immerwieder. Die Sprchausgabe ist "un-inspiriert und lieblos". Das Spiel hat weit weniger Witz und Humor wie hier mehrfach behauptet wurde. Ohne intensive Nutzung der In-game-Hilfe ist das Spiel schlecht (oder garnicht) spielbar. Volle Übereinstimmung mit der Bewertung von mwal am 11. Oktober 2017 Mir wäre es lieber gewesen wenn "The Inner World" (um ES nicht mehr Spiel zu nennen) auf meinem MX-15 Debian Jessie 32bit System mittels Wine 1.6.20 nicht zum laufen zu bringen gewesen wäre: War es aber leider doch!

Better than usual point &click adventure
WAY better than usual, in point of fact. What's more, this game is NOT misogynistic. I don't know where anyone came up with that idea. The girl in the story is OBVIOUSLY way smarter and more practical than the guy with the whistle nose to start with - AND HE IS CONSTANTLY SAYING SO. My particularly "liberated" mother doesn't find this game objectionable, and she is definitely observant/aware enough of such issues to tell. When asked, she was not only incredulous that anyone had labeled this "misogynistic", it is her stated opinion that only a feminazi's feminazi (amongst REAL feminazis, which is a vanishingly small population to begin with regardless of Rush Limbaugh's opinion on the matter) would find it so. Honestly, the real brains in this game belong to the woman and the guy is pretty much of a dumb bell, though a nice, pleasant, KINDLY dumb bell. Get real. IT'S A GAME. Expend your energies on things like professional women (and I DON'T mean street walkers) on TV portrayed with their boobs falling out at the office and nonsense like over endowed scantily clad female warriors who ought to be a mass of scars or, more likely, DEAD, if they actually went into battle wearing only a chain mail bikini. There's nothing in this vein to see here. Move along now. (Have wishlisted the sequel).
