Good game, but nowhere near Guild 2

This is a decent game. It is well thought-out and, at least for now, was a bug-free for me. It also applies to multiplayer. Developers certainly did their homework. Everything makes sense, pointless grinding was optimized giving players more time to focus on developing their strategy. Graphics is also nice .It is a pleasant experience. Why do I still return to The Guild 2, even though it is old and buggy. But it has unique atmosphere. I always immediately felt as if I was really there, fully immersed into medieval times. The graphics, the free camera and, in particularl, the music. I cannot describe how amazing they were. In Guild 3 these are just normal, casual. The music seems to be medieval, but is rather poor. Graphics? Better, but not as magical. Free camera? Sadly no, you cannot look throughout the entire world like in the predecessor. Guild 3 does not reproduce the same stunning atmosphere. I truly regret these flaws. I have the feeling that the biggest and toughest part of the job of developing a worthy successor of Guild 2 was done properly. It lacks some details, fine-tuning. But, for me, these details killed what I loved in Guild 2 and made this game similar to hundreds of others from this genre.

Go back to the Guild2 instead.

I played a lot Guild 2 despite its tragic flaws. I hoped that the 3 would be a progress, devoided of flaws. Wrong. In Guilds 2 everything was simple, intuitive, clear, and yet it gave lots of possibilities and overall the game was quite complex, and gave a lot of satisfaction from the effort put into developing a family and a business. I played Guilds 3 for a couple of hours. I didn't know anything about what was going on. Nevertheless, I had more and more money. Why? I don't know. I didn't know how to control the workshop, how to organize the work or where to get raw materials from, but nevertheless it worked and brought in income. I didn't notice any dynamic economy, I didn't see price differences. I didn't notice the need for character development (maybe I played too short a time, or rather the game was on too short a time). I talked to some lady and after 15 seconds I was married. No challenges. I was simply VERY bored. Maybe after 10 h of play something would appear. However, everything was so discouraging that I preferred to return to Guild 2.

good so far, playable and enjoyable.

a nice successor so far, very early alpha but it's main functions are there and it already feels nice and has good ideas like skill tree and therefore more open occupational options for ur carreer.. looking forward to more of this and when multiplayer comes around. this has definetly grown a lot since the bad reviews of december and so forth, playable enjoyable for a Guild title and works well enough for it's development stage, playing on highest graphics, and runs fine for me (not a high end pc)

Tried it out for a few hours, it feels technically solid (pleasant surprise over the predecessors). Automatic production works much better as in 1&2 imo. Starting outside the city and have to work your way into the city is a nice addition. But that's it from the pro side. There is not much more that is new or better, there is not even an inside view for production buildings (at least in the version I tested). There is a lack of details everywhere, Guild 1 had so much more "soul". At the time I moved to the city I was already to bored to resume playing.

10 hours gameplay review.

My review is based only on 10 hours of patron play. Review will be changed in the future. If you expect the same playstyle as with the guild 2 - no chance, game is similiar but you play it diffrently. "skill tree" will stop your progress for most of the time. first you need a social status and money before you can touch some buildings & professions. once u make croft , you dont have to make fields/corrals , workers make wheat / barley sheep/cow/pig in one building, as long you have right resources to do so. inteface can be confusing at beginning. and setting trade routes could be less of pain in the ass. don't expect getting into buildings to watch how your sims work. its not here yet. having multiple buildings close to each other might give you headache. ( clicking building without clicking worker portrait can be a nuisance as well. in 10 hours I have noticed only one Early access thing- two sims talking to each other, -is the season over yet? -MISSING LOC[0x9fad1c39f943c01b] I have high hopes for this title.
