This game is timeless !
I was introduced to Skyrim by my roommate in college, in 2023. Despite starting the game 12 years late, and with almost zero knowledge of the game beyond it's reputation as one of the greatest games of all time, I've been having an amazing experience playing and discovering some of what Skyrim holds.

An oldie, but a goodie. Mods too.
Just playing this game again is really fun, perfect podcast, chill game even when you decide to play on Adept or higher. Mods just help streamline the experience or help by not making it look like mud.

Played for many hours for a reason
Arguably one of the most played RPGs, this is for a reason. Is it deep? No. Is it buggy? Sometimes. But, Bethesda can re-release this game so many times for a reason. Skyrim is a sortof RPG comfort food.

One and done
I played this early in life and it's one of my first RPG experiences, but to be honest it's pretty shallow and gets boring after you've played most of the content. And though there's a wealth of mods, very few really address the core issues. It's defiantly worth a play, but there's a lot of better options now a days. I'd go play Oblivion or Tainted Grail instead personally.
