The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

I really tried to love this. It sounds exactly the kind of game I should like. But it was just horrible. I've played both the DOS version and the 1.0 release of the Unity version with hand selected mods from the top ones to add more variation to quests etc. I got bored after maybe 7 hours or so of gameplay. Everything is tedious, and I cannot immerse myself to this world at all. Unkillable NPCs everywhere, even with mods that are supposed to fix that. NPCs that are just animated signposts nobody really does something in the world, and the sheer size of the world means that I cannot get attached to anything interesting. A completely annoying if not broken legal system (guards keep arresting you after you've been found innocent). I know Daggerfall is a historical milestone for the genre but it's unbelievably boring for me.

So I couldn't even play the game. Because it's not drm free, it asks you to login into gog when you install it. I don't want my games to connect to the internet in any ways, this is the only reason I use gog not steam. So fo me this version of ES is useless. Dear GOG, stick to your guns otherwise you not better than competition.

Terminal at start, bugged sounds and outdated controls(is this Sega game?)
