Something I'll enjoy for years to come

Like someone here said, a competent black and white story in the age of grey. It doesn't try to subvert your expectations like so many other contemporary games and just feels really refreshing to breeze through. Makes me wish I supported this at the Kickstarter but I bought a second copy in the hopes of the developers making more games in a similar vein. A story I'll enjoy replaying for years to come.

Great game but poor PaC mechanics

This game relate a strong and good story through really nice 'comic style' graphics, a great soundtrack but it's not such a good game to play if you're mostly into point'n click: lots of useless items and locations, a map absolutely necessary but not clickable (i.e. you have to read correctly the map and remember the path you want to pursue), and average puzzles. Still a good game but it would have been a masterpiece without the flaws. It's as the creators were somehow bothered in the end to create point'n click mechanics.

Very good game - Constantine is back

Reminds me of "Constantine" from the Hellblazer comics for the context of the story and for the characters. Very good story... Very good characters... Very bad villains ;-) Very dark and beautiful at the same time. Unforgettable

A great point & click adventure!

I really enjoyed it! The art style really stood out and looked amazing, the music is great (even if there were very few tracks), the 'cutscenes & events' were cool and I really loved the characters. It was always fun to see how the main character talked to people, or thinking back to past events he was part of! There were also no cryptic solutions which is appreciated. I'm doubtful there will be a second game but if there ever would be: Full voice acting would be great to have. And potentially better spelling as some errors were seen left and right, which made me raise an eyebrow when I saw there was a proof reading in this.

Very good atmosphere. Play it!

The Blind Prophet is one of the most atmospheric games I've played. The music, the art style and the story combines into an amazing experience of an apostle who has come to kick some serious ass. Some minor flaws: The ending didn't quite catch me, hence only 4 stars, but I reckon that's quite subjective. (but then again everything about games is, I suppose...) The English translation has a few problems here and there, but I've seen worse. I've also encountered a couple of bugs, but nothing game breaking All in all I'd say all those faults pale in comparison to the amazing art style, music and overall atmosphere of this game, made quite clearly by people who give a ... (in a raspy voice) "Damn..."
