Syberia 3: The Complete Journey

Der Spielspaß wird einem endgültig durch die absolut versaute Steuerung genommen. Grafik ist ganz nett, aber mehr auch nicht. Dazu etliche Bugs, so dass ich mehrmals neu laden musste, weil man einfach irgendwo festhängt -.- Der Mauscursor verschwindet einfach, absolut nervig. Weiß nicht, ob ich die Nerven habe, das Spiel fertig zu spielen.

I'm really sad because this could have been a really great game. The story installed in the first two is solid, Kate is an interesting character with a good development and i was looking forward this third episode. Musics are nice, and voice acting is well done. I liked the story, at least for the part i could play (i will comme back on that point later). Serious theme are approached : racism, alcoholism, our morden life style. The first part of the game is cool. You wake up in a clinic, and try to escape and then explore a new village : valsembor. Doing so you will team up with a young youkol and other protagonists. But this game suffer one major problem : it's buggy. When you interact with object to resolve puzzle, the game zoom on them. One in two the mouse dissapear and you can't left click anywere. So you have to go back by dezooming (right click) and click everywere to make the mouse reappers. This is really annoying and make even more harder to resolve puzzle. Sometimes animations don't start and you're stuck and have to restart your game. After 3 hours of game, i was stuck on a cinematic, with no way to unstuck myself. So i had to restart the game form the beginning,.. i was frustrated but i wanted to know more about the story. But after 5 hours, stuck again at the end of a cinematics, I can't play, i'm stuck in the cinematics who doesn't want to end. I really don't wan't to restart the game another time, replay 8 hours and getting stuck again. Don't get me wrong i love Syberia and the first two games, and i really wanted to love this one. But the weak gameplay, the lack of fluidity and the bugs i met make it really painfull to play and for me impossible to finish. I hope with the next game : Syberia: The World Before Prologue, the dev will learn of their mistakes and make the great game they could have done with this one. I you're a fan of syberia i recomand you buy it on sale. If you don't know the licence i don't recommand you this game.

I'm about half way through, and can't continue because of a game-breaking bug. Because I made the mistake of quitting the game while the android's chest was open, the key is now gone and the keyhole is unselectable. With unskippable dialog/cutscenes, don't have the patience for a second play-through. Should never have been released in this state.

The game is so hard to control and, best of all, crashes at 15% game played, which means its not possible to finish it. Waste of time and money

I forced myself to finish the game, even though I encountered numerous bugs, had to re-play different segments and could not stand terrible controls system. Yes, I did feel the atmosphere of old Syberia (1 and 2) and the sentiment sometimes took over. But the game should not have been released, it's unplayable. You don't know where Kate is going for most of the time, the camera changes the angle, Kate gets stuck randomly or misinterprets your clicks. You may know the solution to a puzzle but due to the terrible mouse control, you will just give up trying, it's not worth the time. Bugs: vanishing cursor, freezing cut-scenes, vanishing interaction points (you just need to reload the game :/) and these are just few of them. I wish they'd have done simple 2D graphics with a great story.... I think I finished the game just to write this: don't buy Syberia 3 at a regular price, it's not worth it. I bought it at a sale (80%) and I still think I overpaid.
