Pure fun
Remember when games were simple and enjoyable? This game is just that. You launch it for a moment and you sink in for several hours. Highly recommended :)

Addicting
A fun game with very pleasing animations and cartoony art style. The game in it's core is straightforward and very laid back meaning you don't have to put too much effort in to anything, just take it easy and beat some monsters, go fishing or try to beat your record in the minigames. Definitely recommending. I think it's the first major release for a 2-man indie gamestudio. Considering that, every aspect of the game seems to be very well made even tho the game itself isn't huge. I hope to see updates and more content!

Hearkens Back To a Simpler Time
Just a very charming game. Everything about it, from the art, to the music is quaint and nostalgic. It's gaming in a very pure form. It may remind you of the fun times spent playing flash games on the old family computer, or during IT class at school on websites like miniclip, addictinggames and albinoblacksheep. It's very charming and very solid. The combat is fun and engaging, the minigames too. There's a lot of game here for £10.

Worth the price
Interesting combo of real time and RPG combat. If you dont like repeditive mini games this is not the game for you. Its a bit annoying to have to go back to mini game grind in order to beat the next group of enemys on the map at times. There is a feature to be able to spend points earned on the category of mini game you enjoy the least though, so you can avoid one area of training if it bugs you . The mini games do change slightly as you progress but in a remake, more work needs to be done on making these fun to play- see the castle defence mini game in stronghold 2, or rampart (castle build and cannon shoot game) The writing is genuinely funny at times, its worth playing through just to see what the next character is going to say. The companions you earn by defeating them even have a little back story and bringing one makes combat much easier. Also potions can get you through a battle. Progression is pretty fast but not too easy, although if you are a veteran rpg buff it might be too easy. Pro's- Great writing, easy to play. Variety of enemies and attacks not bad for a smaller game. Good price. Cons- Repeditive mini games, having to go back to them too much. Overall: Buy it for light entertainment, not disimilar to some mobile games. A sequal with improvements on variety might be a real winner.

"Little" game, GREAT fun
Do you know all the times you read somewhere that gamers have better reflexes, better eye-hand coordination etc? This is the kind of game that give you that, with his training minigames. Also, it is very entertaining, and very good both as a time dump, if you can play only sometimes (watch out not to sink too many hours in it in this case), or as a game to dedicate yourself. "Strategically" speaking is a little easy, but the training sessions are difficult, fun and satisfying. Also the fights, they scale well in my opinion, and a correct management of the skills will give you great satisfaction. I like this game, and I recommend it.
