SWAT 4: Gold Edition

I remember playing this game when it came out, there were quite a few bugs initially but they fixed it with patches fairly quickly - This game is AMAZING and I can remember doing each mission OVER and OVER and ... You get the point? Trying to get 100% arrest and no losses of any kind. It's dated, but honestly, if you can look past that, get this game, play it and you will love it because seeing that it has finally arrived, I'd buy it just so show my support of an awesome game. Multiplayer was just as awesome! How many times did we have to RESTART the mission because my friend did something stupid? Hahaha... Best times people, best times and best memories.

It's a good game. I still have my original CDs for all the SWAT games. They fall short of Jagged Alliance and the Rainbow 6 series in depth and content. The only reason to buy these is you have the original disks is the DRM. The reason to not buy them if you have the original CDs is you can't add MODs to these GOG versions. I've had no success.

The game is still an amazing singleplayer and multiplayer tactical shooter, especially coop with friends my only gripe is it seems to run badly on my system at certain points and I haven't been able to find a solution. I should be able to run it just fine but it might just be on my end. All that aside SWAT 4 is an amazing game and worth picking up.

It's interesting to come back to this game after 15 years. It is still charming, mechanics are great. Love the concepts of being police and getting better score when not killing suspects. Some of the levels are very hard, but it is so rewarding when you finally get it right. What was surprising to me, is the fact the graphics are till good considering how old the game is.
