Interesting but frustrating
I have to say, it's been a long time when I was this angry with a game, especially an adventure game. I have played adventure games since Larry 1. The game feels interesting, but there is absolutely nothing much to do or click but the hotspots that mean something. The puzzles are poorly designed and mostly frustrating or annoying because of wrong reasons. The puzzles act as a real show stopper in this game. For example the lock picking is pure annoyance which took me 4 hours to beat. Another puzzle leaves you thinking, why in the world the clues are not clear and leaves you with tens of possible solutions? In the end you will think why your solution was wrong and theirs right? It might be just that I think too completely in this game, where the developers have designed the puzzles on a coffee break. I laughed so much after playing through the dull scenes and then a breathtaking cutscene would be shown. Right after that you'll need to solve another stupid puzzle. The pace is just wrong in this game.

Das Spiel läuft wieder - nach Anpassung
Das Game hat ordentliche Grafik, die für meinen Geschmack für eine Adventure Game ausreicht und ist sehr gut vertont. Ich will weniger über die Handlung sagen, darüber ist denke ich genug gesagt, sondern über die Tatsache, dass ich es nach vielen Jahren mal wieder spielen wollte und es nicht ging. Der Grund war, dass das Spiel bei mir zu schnell läuft. Das ist erstmal kein Problem, wird aber ein Problem im Kellerlabor. Dort muss zur Öffnung der Tür ein Code eingegeben werden. Karte durchziehen, Nummer eingeben - nur dass die Eingabe auf dem Nummernpad ein Zeitfenster hat, das viel zu kurz ist. Ich dachte mir schon dass es an den DLLs liegt, die vermutlich zu Kompatibilitätszwecken hinzugefügt wurden und dass andere DLLs vielleicht besser funktionieren. Also alle M*.dll raus und dafür die D*.dll aus dgvoodoo 2.54 rein und das Spiel lief in der gewünschten Geschwindigkeit. Die Nummerneingabe war dann kein Problem mehr. Ich hoffe mein Tip hilft falls auch andere das Problem haben.

Immer wieder nervige Gedulds- und Geschicklichkeitspiele. Der Roboter am Ende zwischen den laserstrahlen zu manovieren ist fast nicht machbar.... Gute Story nur die Zwischenspiele vermießen den Spielspaß.

At least not buggy
Started good, but.. This game has the main story and the side one. Side story is much better than the "main" one. Near the ending, things became absurd. Really. No logic can explain things which are happening. At the chapter 7 (last one) i just wanted to finish the game and delete it from pc. Quests are starting ok, but turning into a complete mess near the middle of the game. Bught it because i had this game in childhood and got stuck on the end of the 1st chapter. I wish things would remain like this and i never played the game again. But i did. At least technical side of the game is ok. I have not encountered any problems. 2 stars for technical part, 0 stars for rest. I have been dissapointed.
