Fun and peaceful game.

This game lives up to the hype. It's relaxing to play, you can do the story missions, help townsfolk, or just go off your own way and do whatever. The game doesn't hold your hand right off the bat, but gives you enough to get started. The longer you stick with it, the more you get out of it. You can play this game while listening to music or watching TV/movies, which is a big plus for me. The game be a little too grindy at times, but it gets more right than wrong. I picked this game up on sale and feel like I am getting my money's worth.

I have played more than 2000 hours over more than 20 save files. There are so many ways to play, min-max, chill, set challenges. I love it! Eric Barone is a genius.

From building up my farm and making friends in town to exploring the mines and tackling seasonal tasks, every part of the game has been thoroughly enjoyable. There’s a perfect blend of relaxation and progression that keeps me coming back, and each in-game day feels fresh and rewarding. Stardew Valley is more than just a farming simulator; it’s an incredibly satisfying escape that’s easy to dive into but hard to put down.
