I took a hiatus for about 6 months from playing this game after sinking about 200+ hours into it. I picked it up again and although I knew a few things, it was like starting all over again. So much so that I created a new character from scratch and went through it all for the 3rd time. And now I'm another 200 hours in. I can't begin to even describe how amazing this game is. The developers have truly made it come to life and bring you into the world. With a running clock you have to decide and discipline, so much like real life that sometimes I forget which is the reality. And boy, do I love the in-game reality. Play it. Full price, discount, free, whatever it takes. Get your hands on it. It has lovable aspects for all kinds of players, you'll find the part that touches you also. (On a funny note, I am being a royal fubu right now and on a quest to marry and divorce every eligible person in the game just for sadistic kicks)

One of the best simulation games ever. It makes you enjoy from the first moment.

I have been a fan of Harvest Moon and Rune Factory for a very VERY long time. I absolutely LOVE those games, along with Harvest Moon's branch off in the life of Story Of Seasons. Now when I first saw this game, I was hesitant, as I had seen quite a few people claiming it to be just a "Harvest Moon ripoff." I just want to say one thing, this game is the Harvest Moon of PD. This is the PC version of Harvest Moon and it is everything I could have ever hoped for in a farming came on my computer. So if this game is still considered a ripoff Harvest Moon, then I will proudly play it with that title. This game has everything and more. Combat, expansions on the house and buildings, different types of farm land, relationship building, mining, fishing, animals, and even a ton of artisan based goods that give the game a deeper depth than it already had. Now if only they would add crochet into the game...>.> (it's not because I'm a crocheter or anything-goodness no lol) Honestly, I could not ask for more of this game, and I couldn't be happier with it. I rave about it all the time, and I even bought it for my Husband after he bought it for me. (muliplayer here we come!) What would add just the strawberry on top of everything, would be to have a livestock festival, other than that tiny little thing I would love to see; this game is damned near perfect! If you are looking for a farming game that lives up to the farming sim title for PC, I urge you to pick up this game, if not encourage anyone reading this to. You will not be disappointed, nor will you ever be bored!

One of the most chill, relaxing, satisfying, and incredible games I've ever played. I would strongly recommend anyone playing to use a controller, but mouse and keyboard is still playable.

I was never one for relaxing farm games nor social games. But over the years I have started to slow down and actully prefer these games. I was sad to see very few games offering everything I wished for. Stardew valley is everything I wanted and more~ From farming crops and handling your animals, too trying to get the special someone to love you, this game had lots of content! The ability to marry and gender and have children is something very few games of any genre offer. If your into a nice casual game, this is for you. Multiplayer is in beta and soon you will be able to play with your friends on PC (gog/humble/steam)
