OH. MY. GOD!!!!
I can't belive this is here! The best space sim ever! I don't know how many times I finished this game. Well, this and Warhammer: Dark Omen which, btw, I'm still waiting GOG! What's the holdup!? :) Anyway if you love Star wars and space sims its a no brainer. BUY. IT. NOW! THX GOG

nicht spielbar
Nach der installation kann man das Spiel trozdem nicht spielen. Wenn man den Luncher startet dann will er das Spiel installieren, bricht aber ab mit der Meldung: Lege CD 1 ein.

XWA SUPER GAME
Tolles Spiel. Sehr abwechslungsreiche Mission. Das Spiel funktioniert jetzt auch mit dem "xwaupgrade". Die englischen Audiodateien lassen sich problemlos durch die deutschen Audiodateien ersetzen. Leider klappt die deutsche Textdatei nicht, da hängt sich das Spiel auf. (Wer eine lösung hat , bitte melden.) Würde mir wünschen wenn GOG.COM das Spiel auch auf deutsch rausbringt. Da viele die alten CDs der XWA nicht haben um die Dateien auszutauschen.

the worst x-wing game
Mission design is "Protect this and that" all the time and you always get the wrong vehicle for the missions. Most missions would be perfect with a X-Wing or A-Wing but what do you get? Y- or B-Wing! For example: You should disable enemy transports because slaves need to be rescued. Your mission is to indentify the transports with the slaves and disable them with an ion cannon before they reach the planet. Sounds like a perfect mission for a B-Wing you got in the previous mission, but you get a Y-Wing and your teammates with X-Wings are too stupid to shoot the Ties. They should give the player an A-Wing and let the AI disable the transports. This is the case for most missions. Forget this game and play the first X-Wing, Tie-Fighter and Versus.

Downloaded from the gog store, and the first window that opens when you click play, is insert CD to play... can't get around it...
