Star Wars action port

It's an enjoyable action experience IF you use a controller. The story is a classically corny Star Wars spinoff. Combat is kind of fun, but I repeat - use a controller. Otherwise you'll get through most of the game only to quit on a scene that was supposed to be an epic moment. Keys are rebindable, but prompts do not change (the positioning is adjusted to XBOX layout, but one shouldn't have issues with a PS controller). The game suffers from being a bad port (but it has also not aged well). Do not expect much trying to get a 60fps experience, because that may break some parts of gameplay. Borderless window is not an option. Finally for all the audio adjustments one can make, the cutscenes will always blast at full power. (I also encountered some boss-breaking bugs, but that may not be a popular issue.) Conclusion: If you're fan of Star Wars games, you'll find this one enjoyable. BUT ready your expectations for any of the above issues you may encounter.

I wanted to love it but i couldn't

It's not the worst game I have played, but it is not far from it. The characters are simple, the gameplay gets repetitive after only an hour and the boss fights are just no fun at all. Was hoping for a real lightsaber fight, but all you do is getting away from the boss as far as possible while spamming force powers at him, because in close combat they just ignore your defense... 1 star for Lord Vader

What Episode III should have been

this is my favorite Star Wars game. It is far and away Star Wars Diablo. Depth? Surprisingly yes, in a manner very reflective of console games in the early 2000's, there are tons of secrets and unlocks found within the game. The controls are kinda clunky, but the combat mechanics are still pretty solid. You absolutely can use the Force to beat a Rhodian to death with a Jawa and that alone is worth the price of admission. All in all, it is still a phenomenally fun game, and I love GOG for bringing it over <3

Fun, glitchy, rushed

I love this game. It makes great use of the StarWars universe and its characters. Being able to use the force at will is tons of fun. That said, the controls are a bit unresponsive at times, which is frustrating. And a bit glitchy at times. But fun. Lots of fun. It sure could use a remake with better controls and updated graphics. I also like the addition of new skins and what seem to be two extra DLCs or stories (haven't played those yet, but I was offered a chance to review this game, and I took it. If only we could review the games at will, and not only when offered a chance to do so). If you find this game heavily discounted (like I did... probably paid under USD $1 for it), I highly recommend it.

Just A Good Game

First bought this game for my PS2, then again for my PS3, now on GOG so I can take it with me wherever I take my laptop. It's just a good Star Wars story. If you like Star Wars, this game is very easy to recommend.
