Played this when i was a kid. Brings back lots of memories. Nice to be able to play this again.

Used to enjoy this game
I played this game many times as a kid and had lots of fun with it. I want to re-experience it as an adult but it's very frustrating when it just crashes to the menu screen randomly during missions. Sometimes the ESC key to open the menu just completely skips over the menu and exits to main losing all your progress. There are several missions that seem to be bugged and completely unsave-able or incompleteble because of these problems.

Still a banger!
I never got to play this when it first came out, more than just a few minutes of the demo anyway. Imagine my surprise at how playable this game is on modern hardware and Windows 11. Are the graphics going to astonish and amaze you? No. Is the story and gameplay enjoyable? You bet your spots, Mr. Neelix! Very enjoyable, good combat, good weapon selections, great story.

Runs well on modern hardware
I have been running this game on my gaming laptop with RTX 4060 GPU and Ryzen 7 CPU. The game has run well for something its age. I had to manually edit the config file to run the game in widescreen. I then changed the X,Y, and Z position of the guns (also in the config file) to account for the widescreen resolution. These commands can be found online with a quick Google search. These changes were simple to make in the config file. Ever since I made these changes, it's been nothing but phasers set to frag.
