The greatest Star Trek game?
You wouldn't expect gameplay and story this good from such an old game. But I've had more fun with this game than any in the Star Trek franchise. The Borg are terrifying for part of the game, and it feels great to finally be able to beat them. If you can only buy one Star Trek game, make it this one!

Fantastic game.
Like everyone who bought this game I am a big Star Trek fan (my favourite being DS9 :P). I must say this game runs really well on modern hardware. the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is just because of the QOL improvements that are kind of hard to impliment (it could also just me being dumb). If you don't feel like reading. it's a Great Game although it's showing it's age. The QOL improvements include: No Windowed borderless mode. This is fairly common for older games to have Fullscreen and Windowed mode but not windowed borderless. luckily "Borderless Gaming" is a thing. The game also does not have Alt-Tab so going from game to desktop is impossible but the workaround I figured out specifically for multi monitor setups setting the game to windowed mode running "Borderless Gaming" and Alt-Enter to go between fullscreen and windowed mode with the "Borderless Gaming" software being a sort of buffer to keep the screen from going askew. 1920x1080 16:9 monitor support. Don't get me wrong the game plays perfectly well without this (unlike Slave Zero which skews the crosshair ever-so-slightly if the wrong resolution is set), but the scaling is a bit off since the game does not natively support 1080p resolution or impliment widescreen well so character models get kind of resized and bulky. but there are work arounds for this. Updated shaders. I'm not faulting the game for looking the way that it does, I mean it's from the year 2000. but technology does advance and there are mods to re-shade the game. (this could be just my own stupidity) the reshader I downloaded for some reason did not mesh well with the rest of the game files so I've spent a few days trying to tweak things and got it to a point where it's good enough. All in all the game is really well made and I have not experienced any crashes while trying to play the base game. Only when I installed re-shaders and played around with the .cfg files did ever see any crashes.

For me the first game in Star trek If you love Voyager series you will love this game Great story it is like an episode frome the series and gameplay is fast playin on Win 10 still looks grea and feels great must play it is Good Old Game

Great offering, can only recommend!
Since most things have already been said here, I'll concentrate on the most important things. 1. It runs flawlessly out of the box on Windows 10! 2. A custom resolution will not require any mods. Just edit the config files (see forum or other comments for that) and that's it. I'm running it on 1920x1080, no hassle at all! Otherwise: The game is simply stellar. running it again after about 20+ years offers tons of charm, a great story, great voice acting (the German audio is sweet!), great music and simply great atmosphere. 10/10!
