I enjoy it more than most of the early access games I play. I keep buying them, especially early access RPGs! This is a lot of fun for fans of games like Story of Seasons or Stardew Valley but in full Animal Crossing-looking 3D! It's obviously still in development but seems to be going in the right direction. The developer emailed me back after I asked about when they would be updating the GOG version to be the same as the Steam version. Then they updated it two days later!
I'm about to set off to fight Pirate Bosses and get loot, and items for crafting. My farm is slowly giving me enough money to get more fuel. And with updates, it looks like crafting will be easier or more balanced. All in all a fun farming, adventure, and tourism sim with RPG elements.
Oh, and make sure you craft keys early on for the chests scattered on the islands. I got golden items, plenty of gold, and useful crafting ingredients. I'll update this review as I play, and as the game develops.

This game is another Kickstarters cash-grab. A decent looking veneer hides the unfinished and poorly crafted gameplay.
Earning money sounds fun until you realize how easy cash is handed out and that there is nothing worth buying.
Crafting equipment sounds sounds fun until you realize enemies are harmless and drop nothing useful.
Talking to villagers sounds fun until you wade through their repetitive, walls of text in broken English.
Attending a festival sounds fun until you realize there is absolutely nothing to do there.
Raising Animals sounds fun until you realize all you do is click on their barns once a day to gather the single resource they produce.
Exploring islands sounds fun until you realize they all look the same and offer nothing useful.
So many things are left unfinished. Some trees you chop down and their collision is removed, but the tree doesn't disappear. Items have descriptions like "used as a food ingredient or in medicine", yet have no function. The Museum has large empty spaces and donating items does nothing.
You are unlikely to ever buy any supplies as everything you chop or shake drops masses of seeds and resources. Chop grass, get coffee seeds! Wack a fern, get sugar cubes! Check out a shrub, get cherries!
If you enjoy building and intricately decorating your own farm, you might get some fun from this game, but there are far better options for this.
Controls are laggy, with unintuitive menus.
I would not recommend this game for anyone. It is incomplete and horribly crafted, but also these Kickstarter pay-in-advance monstrosities should not be supported.
Early Access out of the way, should you get it now? There is plenty of content already, so you won't be bored until the 10-15 hour mark. There still are plenty of bugs, but none gamebreaking. The game is mostly missing side content, as the main quest is already implemented.
Overall this game is a farming sim with a focus on exploration in the tropical Caribbean-like setting and tourism. You are able to explore different islands and earn money by making the archipelago a tourist spot and selling your wares to tourists. You can build crops, tend to animals and build a farm, but can also automate it later on in order to fully concentrate on exploration.
There is a survival element to it, as you have to manage food, drink and sleep. Apart from that you have other farming sim classics like mines, fishing minigames, a town with townsfolk, and festivals. The main difference is the availability of other islands that you can travel to, explore for riches and free from pirate control via combat.
The artstyle is cutesy and uses lots of warm colours. The music is fitting for the setting, but won't stick in your head.
My only gripes are the astounding size of the maps (getting from your farm to the town on foot will take four or five ingame hours) and the somewhat shallow social system. Conversation with villagers is deeper than just talking to them once a day, as you have multiple answer options and have to pick the right option for friendships to deepen. But with not even 15 villagers the huge main island feels pretty barren, and there's not much you can actually do with them yet. If you want a game focusing on the social sim, try out World's Dawn instead, or maybe wait until this game comes out of early access.
Overall it's a great game if you're looking for a chill farming and islandhopping experience. I haven't been this excited for an early access farming sim since Portia.
This game has some Major Bugs. Example, Menu will come up and you cannot cancel, click, or navigate it. Depending on how the menu/ui breaks you can open and close them, sometimes you can't. You have to use Task Manager or Close on the Menu bar to get out of the game and restart from your last save. When you get locked like this you can't save because trying to sleep to get to save gets locked and you lose progress.
Multiplayer, you cannot join a private game in session and if you leave a game in session or crash out everyone leaves/crashes out. This game is fun and interesting so far, but I have only been playing for a couple of hours and these have now occured multiple times. It is frustrating so buyer beware, if you are willing to look past these issues in hopes the dev fixes them then you may not be disapointed. Good Luck!
A nice mix between Animal Crossing / Stardew
2 Players coops is nice (and thanks for drm-free multiplayer); the game ofter the possibility to "specialise" a bit (as I focus on farming/mining and my gf on exploration/building)
