Never the same game twice
You have risen to lead an up and coming civilization in magical land of Elemental. Your village lives in the shadow of one of the precious shards of magic. It also possesses something unique in all the world -- the Forge of the Overlord. This powerful artifact allows its user to craft magical items and equipment.
Armed with the Forge of the Overlord, your people look to you to challenge the malevolent Sorcerer King, a being who has devastated the land and filled it with ruins and minions.
Unknownst to him, you have learned the Spell of Ascension that will allow you to channel the magic of the shards and enable you to ascend to a being of nearly unlimited power who can set the world free (or destroy it).
But you are not alone. Other civilizations are rising while the Sorcerer King schemes in his distant fortress. They too have their own plans…
A rich world to explore
+ Choose from one of eight civilizations to play as including the Endless Night, The Dwarves of the Frozen Realm and the Men of Altar.
+ Discover ancient dungeons, lost temples, haunted villages and more that lead to adventures with danger and treasure
+ Use the included map editor to create your own unique world or let the game randomly generate one for endless replayability
A Deep history to expand into
+ Meet other races to ally with or go to war against
+ Put down criminal organizations, liberate oppressed towns and discover new lands to found new cities in

Meh
It is a good bare bones tactical game but it is horribly executed. Limited intrusction for new players and terrible execution hold back what could have been a solid game.

The boring the bad weighted and the ugly
I bought the game because I like the 4x genre, I like phantasy and I like turn based battle and this game seemed to combine it all in a good sense. But far off! This game is boring as hell. All you can do is plunder some locations and what you mostly get is crafting materials and some items. The battles are mostly unweighted and even when the tooltip is showing a weaker army you almost get oneshotted in a lot of situations. The grafic is so 1999. I can not recommend it. The opponents armies just hang out somwhere and dont do anything. Just disappointing.

the secret betrayal
this is not the first version of theis game, i own the first virsion, aftar i got it found out they had this version, the patched and improved version, they the same game but this one had many of issues of the first fixed, why dont i own this, i bought this game and then they said oh if you want the fix and more balanced patched up vesion, buy it again at full price, i will never buy a game from these thieves again. i keep it on my list as reminder that they took my money and demanded i buy at full price what was basicly a patch. its a common practice with them actually. they sell a game, then they sell it again at full pirce with "upgrades\DLC", even EA selles the upgrades\DLC to customers for only 5-10$. hell gamesworkshop games only ask 10$ for adding one race, these guys ask 60$ to add minor quality of life shit.
