90% worth it
I got this game for free, so a review is the least I can do. I'm not much for walking sims and hide for monsters all the time. So I played on easy mode for this one since I really didn't care about the monster and just wanted the story. The look, atmosphere and sound are really well made. It’s spooky and interesting at the same time. The story and ending is going to make you thing about a few things after you are done with. Gameplay is very simple. Walking around and doing small puzzles. There was only 1 puzzles I think was badly made. I had zero clue of how to solve it and needed to do a web search to find out. The rest was easy. I got SOMA for free. I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. But it didn’t change my mind on walking sims. If I could had added anything to this game, it would have been more puzzles and less time wasted on the monsters. But overall, not a bad sci-fi thriller.

Fisch...
...den Apetitt auf Fisch und Meer hat mir Soma mit seiner wahnsinnig dichten und bedrohlichen Atmosphäre für ne weile ausgetrieben. Nach kurzer Spielzeit habe ich bemerkt wie das Spiel mich packt und nicht mehr los lässt. Die Grafik nicht unbedingt State of the Art kann sich aber absolut sehen lassen. Dafür beeindruckt die perfekt auf das Spiel abgestimmten Soundkulisse in jedem Moment. Das Voiceacting ist fabelhaft. Die Geschichte welche in Soma erzählt wird, ist faszinierend und verstörend gleichzeitig. ich würde mir mehr Spiele wünschen welche so weit in die dunklen Keller von Moral und Ethik absteigen. Wo fängt der Fortschritt an und ab wann wird er zum Wahnsinn? Es sind in dieser Gechichte am wenigsten die Monster welche einem zu schaffen machen. Es sind eher die großen Fragen des Lebens. Wer gute Horrorgeschichten mit Tiefgang XD mag , der kann hier bedenkenlos zugreiffen.

Well worth it
SOMA is one hell of a ride, right from the beginning. It spins a great tale that keeps you interested and entertained throughout the whole experience. The stealth and running-away-from-monsters elements are few and far between, serving their purpose without detracting from the story. There are some puzzle sequences, but none presenting insurmountable challenges. Along the way you will need to make some hard choices - I'm guessing you may end up staring blankly at your screen just after making them; a mark of any great adventure game, to be sure. Finally, I'd argue it's not for the faint of heart. Although story is captivating, the scenario you'll find yourself in is oppressive, dark and foreboding. Kudos for the team behind SOMA.

Totally worth the play
Back when it first came out it flew under my radar as another horror game, well I finally got around to playing it and oh my god was I wrong. This game is simply amazing and I was not expecting it to be this good
