My favorite war sim
The game play is simple but the missions make you think. There are multiple ways to complete most of the missions and the fully destructible environments make for a fun time. I love taking my squad out and getting them a tank each by the end of a level and running over all the things.

Accessible RTS for newbies
Soldiers: Heroes of WWII was the first RTS I ever tried, and it got me into the genre. It's a fun, accessible RTS for those wanting to find a title that will ease them into this type of game. While I have never found an RTS with the "perfect" interface, this game's controls and dashboard do a manageable job of keeping things handy. While Company of Heroes might be a better game, Soldiers is a good primer on what the genre has to offer.

why did i not play this in 2004
why did i not play this in 2004 i was about 10 at the time. I played alot of rts games, so this does have a bit of nostalgia straped to it. but anyway its a great game with every building being destoyable. every soldier being customizable, you can pick up guns and armor etc. everything works great exept the editor i could not get that working. sorry for my lazy english

Great Game
This game brought back some good memories I first remember this game by mistake. Meaning by mistake was that I got this game by mistake was when I pre-ordered the PS2 and the order numbers got mixed up with this game and instead getting the PS2 at the time they sent me this game but said sorry for the mix-up and told me to keep the game and at the time I haven't bought a new pc game in a long time. Once playing this game I really got hooked on how much fun I had playing it. I also have a special heart out for WW2 games because I had a grandfather in WW2.

Impossible to get tired of.
Obtained for 1p online sale. Nothing compares with this challenging game. The numerous mods available free make this game massive. Even on the easy level I just cannot achieve all the levels and campaigns. Therefore does anyone know where I could obtain/get the levels. The cheats just don't seem to work. I REALLY MUST GET TO THE PLACES CAN'T GET TO. I have also found that the game will not complete sometimes even when I have done all objectives needed. Any helps.
