SimCity™ 3000 Unlimited

I have tried a number of workarounds that I found in forums, plus some stuff GOG provided me, and it still has a problem moving on the map when you try and select areas to turn them into zones. It just flies across the territory and selects way too much. When you try and move back to a smaller area it will just go in the opposite direction. This is the reason why I do not play it, and I was so happy to find this game.

Fast scrolling makes it impossible to play. I tried with mouse and arrow keys. Pity:(

Simcity 2000, 3000 and 4 are the only Simcity Titles I cared about. Now with 3000 finally being available, the "forgotten entry" of the series can be explored by a whole new generation of players. I loved 3000. The gameplay, the music, the art design and the landmarks. I played this game nearly everyday after school from 2004-2006ish. Such a fantastic game. I remember coming home to my hand-me-down Windows 2000 white box computer to play this game. Memories <3

Many SimCity fans will have experienced the aged original SimCity 3000 code crashing their game on modern operating systems however this is different! Its pretty much a updated copy of the game for modern computers that works perfectly like once it originally did! It runs well using Windows 10 and avoids those game crashes in-game that most modern systems experience with the aged coding that isnt updated. It also still includes the Building Architect tool and Scenario Editor which also work fine. The only downside is that it only supports 4:3 resolutions however its easily managable. Overall it works perfectly and allows people like me to relive their childhood! Thanks GOG! XD

Work's like a charm, this one. Brings me back to the good ol' days when I was playing this a long with a few building games like Stronghold, Cossack, Age of Empires and whatnot. It's a challenging game and it could be overwhelming to new players, but once you get the hang of it, you'll pretty much enjoy every single minute of it. Oh, and the soundtrack? Godly. Jazz is a personal favorite of mine, so I'm overjoyed. Most likely the best SimCity game in all.
