SimCity™ 2000 Special Edition

Small screen, terrible UI?!?!? What's this garbage?!?! Nowhere on this page was it specified that this download was for DOSBOX. I got ripped off, be careful before you buy!

First off, I am going to put my hands up and admit to fault since I didn't read the whole description or reviews, so that's my mistake. However, that said, I do want to make my opinions known. Yes, this offering of SimCity is cheap, but it's still not worth it. This version of the game is the DOS version running through DOSBOX, a DOS emulator that is offered for free. The same goes for the game itself since its 'Abandonware'. A game running in DOSBOX is a little insulting since similar virtual machines can actually be played with IN A BROWSER on websites such as the Internet Archive - FOR FREE! After the previous purchases I have made, I assumed this game would be the Windows version modified to run on modern 64-bit Windows (Until I realised my mistake) which I would have been much happier paying for. It has been done so it is possible.

No interest because no management of his city after its construction. No purpose, no difficulty. Do not waste your time with this game. GOG.com always on top ! Perfect !

Disappointed with the graphics as very basic and no way to adjust to my screen resolution. Think it's set to 640 x 480 so very blocky and the game play window is even smaller. So I would wait for SimCity 3000

Is it just me but having this is like going back to 1985. not a patch on Caesar 3 or Pharoah. Just irritating and due to be trashed.
