Shadow Man: Remastered is a complete overhaul of the classic game with restored, previously cut content!
3 New Levels:
- "Summer Camp, Florida" (Day and Night)
- "Salvage Yard, Mojave Desert" (Day and Night)
- "Asylum Station 2 - Experimentation Rooms"
New Audio (from the original games composer, Tim Haywood):
- Remastered music and SFX
- New music and SFX for the restored levels
- Restored cut/unused voice dialog in levels
Art Updates:
- Switch between the original textures and the new high resolution textures
- HD Textures for all levels and objects
- Nvidia Intro Cutscene Textures
- HD HUD and inventory icons plus a new icon for the Shadow Gun
- Restored unused animations
- Restored several cut and censored models from the original levels
- N64 Gad Icons
Gameplay Improvements:
- New weapon wheel to select weapons faster as time is slowed down
- Improved controls
- Improved destructible objects using Bullet Physics
- Auto targeting
- Tweaked/improved AI
- Levels rearranged as originally intended
- A ton of fixes across the entire game to each level from object to geometry fixes
- Fixes to the localization for English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian

Shadow Man Remastered infuriates as often as it delights, but it's a solid experience, and Nightdive has done an excellent job preserving it.

What it comes down to is that Shadow Man Remastered is an excellent title that I enjoyed thoroughly. However, it is an excellent twenty-something-year-old title, and some people just can't go back to that era. I get it. But for the rest of us, this is definitely a title worth pulling back from Deadside.

Shadow Man Remastered is a great game and I hope those with fond memories enjoy it as much I do. I hope those unfamiliar will give this a shot as well because while this is a game from the 90s it feels very modern in the controls.

Tolles Remaster
Es ist ein wirklich wunderschönes Remaster geworden und mir gefallen auch die kleinen Änderungen die bei der N64-Version stellenweise zu Frust geführt haben. Texturen sind schön scharf, endlich eine höhere Auflösung und der Sound ist gut verbessert worden. Für Leute die ein Problem damit haben, dass das Spiel nicht startet. Ich hatte das Problem wegen meinem Profil. In meinem Profilnamen war ein Umlaut drin (ö). Auf meinem anderen PC konnte ich das Spiel ohne Probleme starten, weswegen ich das erst nicht daramtisch fand. Da ich aber das gleiche Problem mit der Mass Effect Legendary Edition hatte, habe ich ein wenig experimentiert und nachdem ich ein anderes Profil erstellt hatte lief es auch auf dem anderen PC.

Sehr gutes Remaster
Obwohl das Spiel durch die neuen 4K Texturen optisch "neuer" aussieht ist der alte Flair des Spieles erhalten. Ich kann jeden Shadowman Fan das Spiel mit besten Gewissen empfehlen, es ist wirklich jeden Cent wert.

You have ni idea how big this game is
This game is really long. If you're a bit older and used to repetitive play then up the score to 4/5. I don't see myself playing it more than once (I didn't play it when it originally released, but I remember reading about it in the gaming magazines), but for what the game is, it is a very worthwhile playthrough. The remaster itself is really well done, no complains there. The atmosphere is characterfull, the pacing is well done. If you pay attention you won't have any problem navigating. I'm 13 hours through and only once did I consult a guide because I forgot where was the next gate I was supposed to open. So If you're an older gamer, the game has the potential to really get a hold on you (I see why it is a cult classic), otherwise be careful with this one - aside from the graphics , the gameplay may seem really repetitive and boring to you. In the latter case I'd maybe drop a star.

Awesome Shadow Game!
The Count and I are currently playing this. Great game! Had zero expectations other than guy holding a skull. It's a blast (from the past). Use the gun, jump through shadow gates, be the shadow man, cross the shadow land! This thing will make you feel alive and dead at the same time. Just like Shadow Man! Thanks <3
