RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3: Complete Edition

I've herd, and felt the lack of magic that RCT3 has compared to it's older siblings, and at first i was dead set against buying it. I was bored, and bought it on amazon for $20 and it was totally worth the price. One thing you have to put aside to enjoy this game is that it's not RCT2. The scenarios are not good (too easy, too quickly completed), but that isn't where this game excels. The massive options made available from start and even a sandbox mode are amazing tools for designing new rides or even managing a huge park. The modding community also has attacked this game, with new supports and special objects for creating even more realistic parks (even custom rides). If you liked the way the old games played, this isn't for you. If you want a huge sandbox where you can build amazing or impossible rides, pools, zoos water slides, or what ever, buy this now. Ten dollars is well worth the price. I payed twenty and would have payed more. Aside from the minecraft, this is my favorite creation game.

I do agree that $20 is exorbitant for this. However I picked it up at a sale for $8 (60% off) which I think is about right (the standard price can be $10, that seems acceptable to me), and as for the game itself, it's one of my all time favorites!

This is $30 on Steam, so at least GoG was able to bring it down by 30%. Still, I'm sure this is more on Atari's end then GoG's. $9.99 price point and I'll buy, for sure. I'll keep it on my wishlist until then.

Damn people $15 bucks for (IMO) the best Roller Coaster builder available to the general public, and you think it's "TOO EXPENSIVE" Frontier Studio's can do no wrong in my eyes, even some of their "Meh" games are leaps and bounds above anything else in the same genre. Oh look at that RCT1-3 all on sale this weekend (9/21/12)! $14.37 for all 3 Rollercoaster Tycoon games + their SIX Expansions! Darn it people, go back to your iOS freemium games! Get out of my childhood!

In the first game, you add a new ride or food place, and it takes them a whole 30 days to even realize it exists. This is even if you put it close to the front of the location. When I played this game three times, it took them years to notice something close to the entrance. All kinds of things I did, didn't seem to effect what was happening and the AI just seemed so bad. When things happened in the first game, it felt natural.
